Jovana V. Jovanovikj

My Loyal sidekick
My father Ivica Bocevski was born on June 15, 1977, in Skopje. My father is a politician, diplomat, and a scholar from Macedonia. Although he studied and lived in many cities around the world, he loves Skopje the most.
My father graduated political science at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University at Skopje, and he completed his master’s in international relations at the University of Pittsburgh at the United States. Later, he was a spokesperson for the Macedonian government, Minister for European affairs, and a special advisor to the President for foreign affairs. Ivica Bocevski was the first Macedonian resident ambassador to Brazil, establishing the first Macedonian diplomatic representation in South America.
My father also has a passion for travelling, especially discovering culture and history. He has visited all the continents, except for Antarctica. His favorite genre of books is history, and he adores war movies (especially about World War II). Although my father has achieved many things in his life, for me he will always be my favorite sidekick. In my earliest childhood, he was always the loyal companion in his invented stories about the fantastical adventures of the superhero Jovana (a.k.a. me). Later, that impacted me to develop my passion for reading and movies.
